And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19 NIV
It is in our nature to give sympathy and to do whatever we can to help our friends in need. We have the vain hankering to materialistic things, pride and some things we have not. God do sometimes put us in bonds, restrain us and bring circumstances over our life that we don’t like. The purpose of that is to learned to be content, to bring to mind the condition, and make the best of it.

Let us intercede by praying that God will meet all your needs.

  • for patient submission and hope when we are belittled;
  • for humility and a heavenly mind when exalted. It is a special gift to have an equal temper of mind always;
  • in a low state not to lose our comfort and trust in God, His providence, nor take any wrong actions to our own benefit;
  • in a prosperous condition not to be arrogant, proud, or secure, or worldly. This is a harder lesson than the other; for the temptations of fulness and prosperity are more than those of affliction and want.

Let use encourage kindness as will meet a glorious reward hereafter. Through Christ, we have the grace to do what is good, and through Him, we must expect the reward. We have all things by Christ, let us do all things for him, and to his glory.
